Curtis Harrison played well in his first start of the season
RENO, Nevada-  Curtis Harrison led the Seawolves with nine points and five rebounds on Tuesday night in a 95-39 loss to the University of Nevada at Lawlor Events Center in Reno.  It was the third straight loss for the Seawolves as they drop to 3-4 on the season.  The Wolfpack see their record even out at 4-4.

The 56-point defeat is the worst since a 118-62 loss to Saint Mary's on December 4, 1993.

The Wolfpack got out to a 6-0 lead in the first minute and a half before the Seawolves were able to hold even for a few minutes.  The lead was just six at 17-11 before Nevada turned in a 32-11 run to end the half.

The Seawolves were outscored 46-17 in the second half as the Wolfpack were able to cruise to victory. Sonoma shot just 23.7% for the game, by far their poorest performance.  They were 2-of-15 from three-point territory and fired at just a 37% (7-for-19) mark from the charity stripe. Nevada, on the other hand, shot 53.7% from the field and 88% from the line.

Harrison earned his nine points and five rebounds in 21 minutes of action.  Ben Washington also had nine points.

Freshman Luke Babbit paced the Wolfpack with 16 points.  Ahyrao Phillips grabbed 12 rebounds as well in a solid performance.

The Seawolves will return to action on December 19th when they face Western Oregon and Lewis-Clark State in the DeBeni Classic up in Arcata.
