ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  The Sonoma State men's basketball season came to an end on Friday night as Cal State San Bernardino clinched a share of the CCAA regular season title with a 65-51 win over the Seawolves.  It was an emotional night for all in attendance as the game marked the end of the career of fan favorite Andrew Kochevar.  The Seawolves end the season at 11-15, 7-13 CCAA.  The 13th-ranked Coyotes will enter the conference tournament at 22-6, 15-5 CCAA.

The Seawolves came out on fire and had fans thinking upset for most of the first half.  SSU led 10-3 after seven and a half minutes and had a three-point lead at 18-15 as late as the 6:15 mark.  From that point, however, the Coyotes would hold SSU scoreless as they entered the break up five, 23-18.

The Coyotes shot 73.7% in an impressive second half in which they outscored the Seawolves 42-33.

Michael Earl finished the game with 17 points, five rebounds, and a couple of blocks.  Renardo Bass came off the bench for 12 points and Lance Ortiz went for nine points and seven rebounds.

Ben Washington and Mike Nelson shared team-high honors for SSU with seven points each.  Kochevar, in his final game as a Seawolf, finished with eight points.
