Andrew Kochevar finished his career fifth in school history with 1,079 points
WALNUT CREEK, Calif- Senior guard Andrew Kochevar was Sonoma State's lone representative on the 2007-08 All-CCAA Men's Basketball team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon. Kochevar earned Second Team All-CCAA honors for the second consecutive year.
The Pacifica native closed out a fantastic Seawolf career by leading the team in scoring with 361 points (13.9 ppg). A four-year performer for Sonoma State, Kochevar ended his career ranked fifth in school history with 1,079 points.
Kochevar is also SSU's all-time leader in three-pointers with 214, three-point percentage at .441, and free throw percentage at .833.
Humboldt State's Devin Peal was named Most Valuable Player and Robert Hayes earned Freshman of the Year honors. A pair of Cal State Dominguez Hills players, Rodney Yearby and Jerrell Smith, were tabbed co-Newcomers of the Year and SF State coach Bill Treseler brought home Coach of the Year honors.
