Jarin Todd Named First Team All-American

Jarin Todd is a two-time First Team All-American
NORMAN, Okla-  For the second consecutive year, Sonoma State junior Jarin Todd has been named a PING Division II First Team All-American.  Todd led the Seawolves to CCAA and West Region championships in 2008, both firsts in the five-year history of the SSU golf team.

By earning First Team All-America honors, Todd is in the running for the Jack Nicklaus Award.  Todd won the award last year, which is given to the top NCAA Division II golfer in the nation.

A native of Redmond, Washington, Todd closed out a fine junior season on Saturday by finishing third in the NCAA National Championship Tournament.

Second and third team All-American selections will be announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) next week.
