ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  It's not too late to sign up for Session II of this year's Sonoma State Boy's and Girl's Basketball Camp.  The camp runs from July 28 to August 1 at Sonoma State University.  In its tenth year, the camp has been established as one of the top youth basketball events in the North Bay.

ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  The Sonoma State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announces the creation of the Seawolf Sports Network.  The network begins with live online audio/video coverage of Sonoma State men's and women's basketball games.

Seawolves Hang Tough In Exhibition With Arizona
TUCSON, Ariz-  Sonoma State got solid contributions from up and down the bench on Wednesday night in a  78-54 loss to the University of Arizona in exhibition action at the McKale Center in Tucson.  Ben Washington had eight points and five assists to lead the Seawolves in their only exhibition game of the year.

Men's Basketball Tabbed Ninth In CCAA Coaches Poll
WALNUT CREEK, Calif-  The 2008-09 CCAA Men's Basketball Pre-Season poll was released on Thursday and the Sonoma State men's basketball team was picked to finish where they ended the '07-'08 season, ninth.

Men's Basketball Announces Recruiting Class
ROHNERT PARK, Calif-   The Sonoma State men’s basketball team has announced the signing of eight players set to join the Seawolves for the 2008-09 season.  "We are extremely excited about this years recruiting class," said associate head coach Rich Shayewitz.  "We worked hard at identifying our needs and feel that we did a great job in filling them."

Introducing A New Blog From The Land Down Under
Former Sonoma State All-American Vince Inglima is currently in his second season playing for the Dandenong Rangers of the Big V League in Australia.  We asked him to contribute an online journal of his experiences in the 'land down under'.  Luckily for us, Vince was happy to oblige.  Enjoy!

Andrew Kochevar Named Second Team All-CCAA
WALNUT CREEK, Calif-  Senior guard Andrew Kochevar was Sonoma State's lone representative on the 2007-08 All-CCAA Men's Basketball team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.  Kochevar earned Second Team All-CCAA honors for the second consecutive year.
