Moran, Bridges Named To ABCA/Rawlings Squad

ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  Echoing last week's Daktronics All-West Region team, Gary Moran and Ian Bridges were named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-West Region team on Friday.  Moran was named the region's Pitcher of the Year and a First Team selection while Bridges brought home Second Team honors.

Moran finished out his two-year career ranked fifth in school history in wins (15), second in ERA (2.26), and fifth in strikeouts (158).  His brilliant senior season in 2009 saw him go 7-2 with a league-best 1.37 ERA- the top mark in Sonoma history for a starting pitcher.

Bridges hit .333 for the Seawolves in 2009 and will close out his career ranked 10th in school history with a .353 career average.  He also winds up tied for fourth in hits (165), sixth in runs batted in (97), and 11th in runs scored (96).
