ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  The Seawolves used a balanced scoring attack to break open a one-point halftime lead and cruise to a 65-48 victory over Cal State an Bernardino on Thursday evening at The Wolves' Den in Rohnert Park.  Jaclyn Bisordi and Stephanie Barnes each had 15 points as the Seawolves solidified their CCAA Championship Tournament hopes, improving to 10-12, 8-9 CCAA in the process.  The Coyotes fall to 12-10, 8-9 CCAA.

The first half saw the teams trade the lead back and forth, though neither squad would build more than a four-point margin.  Sonoma State got a jumper from Stephanie Barnes with 29 seconds left in the frame to give them a 26-25 lead at the break.

Despite the close first half, the Seawolves wasted little time building a lead in the second, throwing in a 19-5 run in the first six and a half minutes to go up by 15 at 45-30.

The Coyotes would be able to get the deficit down to nine a couple moments later, but another big run by Sonoma State would put the game out of reach.  Sonoma would lead by as many as 23 late in the game on their way to their largest margin of victory on the season.

Barnes' 15 points came on 4-of-9 shooting while Bisordi shot 3-of-9 from the field.  Both racked up points from the free throw line, as the pair went a combined 12-of-13 for the game.  Sonoma would out-rebound San Bernardino 43-28, led by seven from Christy Shreve.

Cal State San Bernardino got 15 points from Krystal Urzua, but the CCAA's fourth-leading scorer shot just 7-of-17 from the field and 1-of-9 from three-point range.  As a team, the Coyotes would shoot just 3-of-24 (12.5%) from long distance.

The Seawolves will host Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday night at The Wolves' Den. As it is the last home contest of the year, it will be Senior Night and the Seawolves' seniors will be honored in a short ceremony before the game.

Box Score:  Sonoma State 65, Cal State San Bernardino 48
