Julianne Martinez, who went 3-0 at Cal State Dominguez Hills over the weekend.
The rookie from Granada Hills went 3-0 in three appearances against the Toros with a 2.47 ERA. Sonoma State won three out of four league games against CSUDH and four of five in the series. In 17 innings, Martinez allowed 16 hits, eight runs (six earned), walked seven, and struck out six.
For the season, Martinez is 4-1 with a team-best 2.06 ERA and 21 strikeouts.
The Seawolves are 8-3 on the season, heading into a home series with UC San Diego this weekend.
