JOAQUIN LOPEZ Head Coach Phone:  (707) 664-2291 E-Mail:  lopezjoa@sonoma.edu Joaquin Lopez will begin his seventh season as the head coach for the Sonoma State University women's tennis program in 2017.  He is in his 10th year overall with the women's tennis team, and from 2004 to 2010, he served as an assistant with the men's squad, as well.  In his first six years as the head coach of the SSU women's program, Lopez has compiled a record of 91-55 and has twice been named the ITA Division II West Region Coach of the Year (in 2014 and again last season in 2016).  He was also tabbed as the PacWest Women's Tennis Coach of the Year last year in 2016 after leading the Seawolves to a 17-7 record and a third place finish in the PacWest Championships, the highest finish for the program since joining the PacWest as an affiliate member prior to the 2014 season.  Complete Biography
