Men's Golf Finishes Fifth At WWU Invitational

Jarin Todd paced the Seawolves for the second straight tournament
BELLINGHAM, Wash-  Behind top ten finishes by Jarin Todd and Kyle Hopkins, the Sonoma State men's golf team placed fifth at the Western Washington Invitational in Bellingham.  Todd placed fourth after firing a 71-67-73 (211) while Hopkins was just one stroke back at 69-70-73 (212). 

It was the second tournament in less than a week for the Seawolves, who finished fourth at last week's Saint Martin's Invitational. 

Host Western Washington won the team title with a 291-276-287 (854).  Following the Vikings were Cal State Bakersfield (859), Chico State (862), and Notre Dame de Namur (868).  Sonoma State was slotted fifth after a 293-288-291 (872).

Brady Baguio of Cal State Bakersfield took the individual medalist honors by a whopping five strokes after shooting 67-69-67 (203).
