Marianne Fox and
Kristy Sather each turned in 21 kills, but it would not be enough as Sonoma State fell to Central Washington in four games, 30-27, 24-30, 25-30, 26-30. The loss is the second in a row in the Hawaii Invitational for the Seawolves as they drop to 2-4 on the season.
Fox, a freshman from Forestville, recorded her 21 kills on 56 attacks, hitting .232 for the night. Sather recorded a season-high of 21 kills to go along with 14 digs.
Sophomore
Lindsay Brown guided the offense with a career-high 60 assists.
Taylor Manton, the CCAA's leader in digs after the first weekend of play, continued her stellar defensive work with a game-high 29 digs.
Rachael Schurman led five Wildcats in double figures with 18 kills and a .357 hitting percentage.
The Seawolves play Chaminade later on Friday.
