LOS ANGELES, Calif-  The Sonoma State water polo team was defeated by No. 15 UC San Diego 11-5 on Saturday in early action at the LMU Invitational in Los Angeles.  The Seawolves will face WWPA foe Colorado State later on Saturday.

The Tritons got out to a 6-0 lead after one quarter and never looked back.  Laurel Stricklin had two goals to lead the Seawolves.  Samantha Burchard, Jenna Bole, and Andrea Brookbank each had oone goal.  Lysa Lombard got the start in goal and had six saves.
