Sonoma State got on the board early and never looked back, controlling nearly every aspect of the 90-minute affair. Ogilvy broke the scoreless tie after banging the first shot of the match off the right post, then corralled his own rebound to send the ball into the back of the net for the 1-0 advantage.

It remained a one-goal lead until the 89th minute when Ogilvy went on a breakaway from midfield down the right sideline with just CSULA goalkeeper Steven Barrera in front of him. Upon entering the box, Ogilvy crossed a pass to the other side of the box where Theobald put the game away with his fourth goal of the season.

The Seawolves outshot the Golden Eagles 13-7, including a 6-2 margin in the final 45 minutes.
Mitch North made three saves in the victory, recording his seventh shutout of the season.
It is Sonoma State's first win in a CCAA tournament game since winning the CCAA title in 2010; the Seawolves had been 0-2 since. It is also the 21st time in Ziemer's 26-year head coaching career at Sonoma State that his team has eclipsed the 10-win mark in a season.
Additional Quotes from SSU head coach Marcus Ziemer:
"That was a big win. We played very well right from the kickoff. CSLA is an experienced team that is organized and well coached."
"All week we worked with our Sports Psychologist, Glenn Brassington on playing focused, but relaxed just like we did all season and it showed. We never focused on the importance of the game, but instead just played."
"Our defense was outstanding once again.
Mitch North made a crucial save in the first half to keep them from equalizing.
Ryan Rohane,
Eric Alvarado,
Dane Shaffar and
Jose Avalos were solid as usual and freshman Devin Andersen has been playing like a veteran all season."
"It is great to get
Andrew Ogilvy back. He suffered a concussion in the middle of the season and he has gotten back in form over the last couple of weeks. He was outstanding today."
"Our depth really pays off. We knew that CSLA had to play on Tuesday so we tried to keep the pace high and wear them out."
"It's been such a fun season and we just want to keep playing as long as possible. The seniors have sacrificed so much over their careers and every one of them made significant contributions today. We are definitely a "team" in every sense of the word."
"We are going to enjoy this one and then recover and get ready for UC San Diego on Sunday. We want to bring a blue CCAA tournament banner back home!"
