Hayward, Calif. – Seawolves are now 8-10 overall and 4-5 in the CCAA after this evenings 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-12) fall to the Pioneers of Cal State East Bay on the road.
SET BY SET: Sonoma entered the first set down 3-1, closing the gap 8-6. But fell short of finding a lead, falling by ten (25-15). After the ten-point deficit in set one, the Seawolves found themselves ahead 2-0 in the second set, then gaining a 10-5 lead over the Pioneers before falling 25-19. After striking first in set three the tables turned quickly as East Bay strung 6-points together, then another four for a 10-4 lead over the Seawolves before capturing the 13-point win over the Seawolves.
