Rohnert Park, Calif. -- Sonoma State saw three Seawolves notch 12 points apiece against the Eagles of Concordia (Calif.) University in day one of the 18th annual Ron Logsdon Basketball Classic on its home court.
For the third consecutive game,
Isaac Davidson scored double digits (12), along with
Armani Nicolis and
Wesley Gilbert.
Through the first 20 minutes of play, the Seawolves shot 46.2% (12-for-26) from the floor, including two three-pointers 50% (2-for-4), and 83.3% (10-for-12) at the free throw line.
Brandon Tillis downed a three-pointer to tie the score 31-31 with 3:41 left to go in the first half.
Concordia closed the half on a 7-3 run to take a 41-36 advantage at intermission.
Nicolis scored 10 of his 12 points in the final 20 minutes.
In the second half, the Seawolves shot 42.3% (11-for-26) from the field and 50% (3-for-6) from the three-point line, and 58.3% (7-for-12) at the keyhole.
The final 20 minutes of the game spelled trouble for Sonoma State, as they fell 84-68 to the Eagles.
What's Next: The Seawolves conclude the Ron Logsdon Basketball Classic, as they face host PacWest opponent Notre Dame de Namur. Sonoma State is scheduled to tip-off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, following the conclusion of game three between San Francisco State on Concordia.
