Rohnert Park, Ca -  SSU led by 9 points with just over 8 minutes remaining but Angelo State slowly chipped away until Ronald Bell hit a 3 with 9 seconds to go sending the game to overtime.  

In the extra period Angelo State outscored the Seawolves 13-9 to take the win 82-78 in the first round of the Ron Logsdon Tournament.

Kenny Olsen led Sonoma State in scoring with 20 points, while Nick Klarman added 17.  Isaac Davidson scored 14 hitting 5 of 15 from the field.

Sonoma State was out rebounded by the Rams 36-27.
