#7 Jesse Dupuis

Jesse Dupuis

Jesse joined the Seawolves softball program this season as a senior transfer from Monterey Peninsula JC. Jesse was a dominant force on the mound for the Seawolves this season, ranking in the top-10 in the CCAA with a 2.02 ERA and a 11-2 overall record. She has recorded 8 complete games and four shutouts on the season, including a complete game one-hit shutout yesterday.  Dupuis has a scoreless innings streak of over 22 innings and earned CCAA Pitcher of the Week honors. Jesse also earned CCAA All-Academic honors in 2021 and will graduate from Sonoma State with a degree in Political Sciences.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to finish my softball career at Sonoma State. I have never been on a team with so much chemistry and so much love for each other. I am so lucky to finish with this group of athletes. Thank you Coach B and Coach G for believing in me. I also would like to thank my parents and past coaches for the long hours spent making me the player I am today” - Jesse

"Jesse, though unfortunately only got to play one full year here, has been such a fun addition.  She brings so much versatility to our pitching staff, and her consistency is unmatched.  Coming in as a transfer, she brought a level of confidence, knowledge and experience to the table, exuding a calm and controlled demeanor on the mound.  Jesse is a great competitor and I wish we could have her for 3 more years!" - Coach Bridges

#12 Briana Avalos
Briana Avalos

Briana joined the Seawolves softball program as a freshman in 2019 where she made an immediate impact and played in 28 games that year as the team’s primary first baseman. Briana has appeared in 21 games for SSU this season and is hitting a career high .306 at the plate with five doubles and 11 runs.  She has appeared in 55 total games throughout her career. Briana will graduate from Sonoma State with a degree in Kinesiology.

“I am thankful for the opportunity I had to play softball at SSU. I will forever remember all of the memories I have made in my time here. I am extremely grateful for all my teammates I can call sisters, and for all of the fun times we’ve had together on and off of the field. I will miss all of our funny moments from being together 24/7 during road trips and team dinners! Lastly, I want to say a huge thank you to my family for always being by side with love and support.”  - Briana

"Bri has really stepped up as a leader on the team.  She's not the loudest voice out there, but she knows how to and what to say when it's needed.  Bri has done a great job making things happen when she's up at the plate.  Holding a DP/Pinch hitter role can be challenging, but Bri always seemed determined and prepared for whatever situation she was called to perform in.  It has been fun to watch Bri succeed this year and I know she will continue that success in whatever path she takes in life."  - Coach Bridges

#14 Camille Rodriguez

She was named the CCAA Pitcher of the Week twice this season and currently has a winning streak of eight games.  Camille will graduate in May with a degree in Kinesiology.

"I am forever thankful to have been part of the SSU softball program for 4 years. I have made life long friends and memories and I am extremely thankful for them. I am grateful for all of the life lessons I have learned that I can take me with me outside of the white lines. This special program has given me the most memorable years of my life. Thank you SSU softball and Noma Nation. Love, Camille"

"Camille is a true competitor.  I always know when she's on the mound, she's going to fight with everything she has.  Even if it's not her best game, she finds something inside of her that gets it done.  Our defense plays with such confidence behind her, knowing her consistency and talent will allow them to play their best.  Camille has been a great leader and she will be sorely missed next year."  - Coach Bridges
