In 2023, Sonoma State Athletics officially partnered with Athlete's Thread, a custom apparel brand within the NIL space that allows student-athletes to promote their name, image and likeness with personalized merchandise to be sold online.  Athlete's Thread is backed by the experienced team behind Threadly Brand family, which includes Greek House, College Thread, Threadly, and Athlete's Thread, focused on offering NIL merchandise for every athlete. Sonoma State Athletics is also partnered with Influxer to utilize the new Seawolves Athletics brand and earn income on the use of their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). Influxer, an NIL company, is presenting a co-licensed NIL merchandise deal to all student-athletes. It’s a free activation, multiple lines of merchandise will be sold via their e-commerce platform, influxermerch.com, and the majority of gross profit will be distributed back to the student-athlete based on the sales of their individual merchandise.
