Ben Langwith

Ben Langwith, a former student-athlete for the Sonoma State men's soccer team back in 2007-09, begins his fourth season as the head assistant coach (and his eleventh season overall) as a member of the coaching staff for the Seawolves ahead of the 2021 fall season.

A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Langwith originally began his collegiate career at the University of Kentucky where he appeared in 16 of UK's 19 games, starting six of them as a freshman for the NCAA Division I Wildcats in 2005. He later transferred to Sonoma State and scored nine goals and adding six assists in his 47 career games for the Seawolves.

As a junior in 2008, he was the fourth-leading scorer for the CCAA-champion Seawolves, netting five goals and tallying three assists.  In his final season of eligibility in 2009, Langwith scored four goals, including two in the CCAA championship game against archrival Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Langwith possesses a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "B" License and also coaches with the NorCal Premier Player Development Program (PDP).
