A star from 1994-1996, Ed was an all-out hustler and crowd favorite during his two years at Sonoma State.
He is still the school's all-time and single season leader in field goal percentage. He shot 61% from the field in his career and was nearly unstoppable his senior year shooting 63.1% from the floor while averaging 14.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. That year Ed ranked seventh in the country in field goal percentage. During the 1995-96 season, he helped lead his team to a winning mark (15-13) for the first time in five years, along with guiding SSU to a second place finish in the NCAC.
His list of honors include being named NCAC Co-Player of the Year in 1995-96, First Team All-NCAC from 1994-1996, All-Tournament Team at the Mac Martin Tournament in 1996. He also received Sonoma State's Athlete of the Year award in 1996.
Ed graduated from SSU in 1996. He went on to become an assistant at Chico State before taking the coaching job at College of the Siskiyous.
