Sonoma State University Athletics

There may not be a student-athlete at Sonoma State who was as dominant in their sport as Laurie Hollingworth (Krause).  A cross country and track and field star for Sonoma State from 1986-90, Hollingworth holds every school record from 800 to 5000 meters.  Hollingworth earned All-American honors in cross country in 1987 and was the Northern California Athletic Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Year in 1988 and 1989 as well.
