Sonoma State University Athletics

Dave Kaufman was a three-year member of the Sonoma State men's soccer team, from 1989 to 1991.  Though it's been nearly two decades since his arrival on campus, Kaufman remains the school's all-time leader in saves and shutouts.  He also ranks second in goals against average and fourth in minutes played.  An All-West Region selection as a junior in 1990, Kaufman was also the starting goalkeeper on Sonoma State's 1991 NCAA runner-up squad.
