The 1998 women's soccer team put forth one of the most memorable runs in school history.  The team started out with 20 consecutive wins (a school record in any sport) on their way to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Championship.  Their final record of 22-2-1 represented the most wins ever by a Division II soccer team at the time and their 20-game winning streak is tied for seventh in NCAA history.  Joy Durand led the team with 12 goals and a pair of student-athletes, Amy Apodaca and Sarah Brosius, earned All-American honors.
