47 Seawolves Earn All-Academic Honors
ROHNERT PARK, Calif- A total of 47 Sonoma State University student-athletes were named All-Academic during the 2007-08 season. 39 of them earned their honors through the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), while eight others made the grade despite playing on a team that is not a conference member.
In order to earn All-Academic status, a student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.4 or higher over a course load of at least 24 units. They also must be a letter winner on one of the Seawolves' 13 intercollegiate athletic teams.
Nine Sonoma State teams compete as members of the CCAA, but three (men's tennis, water polo, and women's golf) are independents.
