Tuesday Rained Out; Seawolves Seventh At Chico

CHICO, Calif-  Rain forced the cancellation of Tuesday's final round at the Interwest Chico State Classic, held at Butte Creek Golf Club in Chico.  The Seawolves finished seventh overall.

MONDAY'S ACTION:

After two rounds of play on Monday at the Interwest Chico Classic, Patrick Bauer was the Seawolves' leader, in 12th place at 73-75--148.  As a team, the Seawolves are in the middle of the pack, seventh out of 15 teams.

Bauer's two-round tally of 148 have him seven strokes off the leader, Stephan Edman of Holy Names.

Bauer is trailed by Ryan Carter (81-70--151) in 26th, Tyler Schmuckle (76-76--152) in 32nd, Alex Marry (76-79--155) in 43rd, and Janssen Todd (82-78--160) in 57th.

The Seawolves will need quite a rally on Tuesday to defend their 2008 championship at the event.  Chico State and Holy Names are currently tied for first at 579, 26 strokes better than Sonoma.
