TURLOCK, Calif- Sonoma State got top five performances from freshman
Rachel Borg and sophomore
Katie Bolce to finish second as a team at the Stanislaus Invitational on Saturday morning in Turlock. In addition to the front runners, all five of the Seawolves' scorers finished in the top 16.
Borg crossed the line first for Sonoma, posting a time of 23:29, good enough for third place overall. She was just seven seconds behind the first collegiate finisher, Denali Foldager of Cal State Stanislaus.
Bolce finished 25 seconds behind Borg at 23:47 which put her in fifth place overall.
Elizabeth Bloom was 12th in 24:48,
Sablle Scheppmann was 13th in 24:50, and
Carly McCready was 16th in 25:33.

Jacklynn Kemp,
Noelle Erosa,
Sammy Thomas, and
Debra Daubenspeck also competed for the Seawolves on Saturday.
Cal State Stanislaus took the team honors with 32 points. Sonoma was second, ahead of Cal State Monterey Bay, University of the Pacific, Simpson, Holy Names, and UC Merced (club).
