Seawolves Show Improvement On Day Two In Hawaii
WAIKOLOA, Hawaii- Sonoma State showed a 25-stroke improvement on Thursday afternoon in the Mauna Lani Invitational, jumping two teams in the process to enter final round action in 20th place. Alex Marry led the way with a two-over 74.
Ryan Carter continues to lead Sonoma State overall. He shot a 78 on Thursday and sits in 79th place at 79-78--157. Marry is 84th at 84-74--158. They are followed by
Tyler Schmuckle (80-79--159), #Patrick Bauer (88-75--163), and
Janssen Todd (89-83--172).
Sonoma State is just two strokes back of Rhode Island and 11 behind San José State as they try to make a surge in Friday's final round.
