ROHNERT PARK, Calif- The Sonoma State women's volleyball team is set to host the fifth annual Seawolf Spike this weekend on the campus of Sonoma State University. The Seawolves, who will open their 2010 campaign with four matches during Friday and Saturday's tournament, will welcome seven schools from around the west region, including three other California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) opponents.
Sonoma State, Cal State Stanislaus, Chico State and San Francisco State will represent the CCAA, BYU-Hawaii, Dominican and Grand Canyon are members of the Pacific West Conference and Seattle Pacific, from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), will compete in the two-day event, beginning Friday morning at 9 a.m. The tournament will be held in two different facilities on campus -- The Wolves' Den and the Recreation Center.
