The SSU/Dutch camp is one of the premier camps in the U.S. The staff is top notch, with a combination of Dutch youth and professional coaches, and experienced youth and college coaches from the U.S.
This year we will have Frans Hoek (former FC Barcelona, Dutch/Polish National Team and FC Bayern Munich Coach) at least two days of the camp.
Frans Hoek will provide 5 Top Level Dutch coaches including :
- Camp Director to work with Marcus Ziemer
- Goalkeeper Director to work with the SSU Goalkeeper staff
- Director for Stage 1 - Skills Coach (Age 7-11/12)
- Director / Coach for Stage 2 (Age 11/12-14/15)
- Director / Coach for State 3 (Age 14/15-18/19)
We feel that this new structure will be the best of both worlds with the Dutch Coaches and the U.S. Coaches working together in the camp will have lived in Holland and got their licenses or have been trained in the Frans Hoek Method.

Open to Boys & Girls ages 5-18
The full day/half day campers will join in with the SSU Live in Camp and have 1-2 training
sessions per day. During the lunch break, campers will be supervised and
rest or watch soccer videos and participate in soccer activities.
The full day campers have an optional check in and first session on Tuesday July 5th. Optional check-in 1-3pm and optional session 3-5 pm
The Staff will be a combination of the SSU Men's Soccer Coaching Staff and
Players and 5 Dutch coaches from the Frans Hoek Organization.
This camp is aimed at Region 5 players at the Bronze, Silver, Gold and
Premier Levels (Class 1 and Class 3).
Motivated Recreation players wishing to make the step to the competitive
level will be accepted.
Each camper will receive a t-shirt.
