ROHNERT PARK, Calif- Despite falling behind after game one, the Cal State Stanislaus volleyball team emerged with a 3-1 win over Notre Dame de Namur on Friday morning at the Seawolf Spike Volleyball Tournament in Rohnert Park.
The Warriors lost game one 30-26 before storming back to take the next three games by scores of 30-22, 30-24, and 30-23.
Debbi Vander Schaaf led the Warriors with 13 kills on 32 attempts. Colleen Sullivan did a nice job at setter, finishing with a game-high 43 assists. Megan Britton had 20 digs and a team-high four assists.
Emily Evans was the top NDNU attacker, spiking home a game-high 15 kills. Lauren Quach had 12 digs and Caitlin Torres was the team leader with five blocks.
Both teams play again on Friday. NDNU faces Humboldt State at 2:00 and Stanislaus plays Seattle, also at 2:00.
