Sonoma State University Athletics

Dr. Ed Rudloff was the chairman of the Health Sciences and Physical Education Department at Sonoma State for 16 years, and founded the Department of Athletics.  He coached five different sports during his tenure, including basketball, swimming, tennis, golf and cross country.  A member in two sports of the San Jose State Hall of Fame, the SSU swim pool was renamed in his honor in 1991.
