LOS ANGELES, Calif- The Sonoma State volleyball team lost in three (30-16, 30-17, 30-22) to No. 18 Cal State L.A. on Saturday afternoon at the Eagles Nest in Los Angeles. With the loss, the Seawolves are now 8-10, 5-9 CCAA while the Golden Eagles improve to 14-5, 10-4 CCAA.
Michelle Fletcher led SSU with eight kills on a team-high 28 attempts.
Lillian Harms had 16 digs and
Rosie Manton added 14, but the Seawolves couldn't contain the Golden Eagle offense as CSULA hit .294 on the day. Sonoma State, on the other hand, hit just .070.
Kha Tara Steen led the Golden Eagles with 17 kills and a .682 hitting percentage.
The Seawolves return home next weekend to host Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus.
