Lauren Redfield took game-high honors with 17 points

ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  Lauren Redfield had 17 points as Sonoma State held off a late Humboldt State rally for a 55-51 win in CCAA women's basketball action Wednesday night in Rohnert Park.  The win lifts the Seawolves to 3-4, 2-1 CCAA while the Lumberjacks fall to 5-2, 1-2 CCAA.

After a back and forth first half, Sonoma State went on a 9-3 run to close the half and enter the break up five at 25-20.  SSU stretched its lead to as many as 15 points in the second half before the 'Jacks cut it to ten with two minutes to go.  A pair of HSU three-pointers, one by Taylor Kilgore and another by Katie Wilder, cut the lead to just four with 1:01 left.

Lauren Redfield took care of the final minute for SSU, grabbing three rebounds and converting four free throw attempts.  HSU had one last chance, down three with Jennifer Enos on the line to shoot a pair.  Enos swished the first one, but the next one, missed, was grabbed by SSU's Lauren Redfield.
