ARCATA, Calif- Humboldt State got revenge for a loss earlier this month on Saturday night with a 74-49 win over Sonoma State in CCAA women's basketball action in Arcata. The loss drops the Seawolves to 3-5, 2-2 CCAA.
HSU got out to a 16-2 lead in the first five minutes of the game and never looked back. The 'Jacks outshot Sonoma State 52% to 38% for the game and held a 34-17 lead at the break.
The Seawolves were led by ten points from Nichola Hester. She was the lone SSU player in double digits.
Katie Wilder had 20 points and nine rebounds to lead the Lumberjacks.
Sonoma State returns to action on Thursday night when they host Cal State Dominguez Hills at Seawolf Gym.
