Tracy Webster had two goals and sophomore Katie Houle added another as Sonoma State blanked San Francisco State 3-0 on Friday afternoon in San Francisco. The win lifts Sonoma State to 5-3-0, 3-1-0 CCAA while the Gators drop to 2-4-1, 1-2-1 CCAA.
Webster scored SSU's first goal on a breakaway just inside the 52nd minute. She connected again just six minutes later with her second goal of the game and fourth of the season. Houle made the lead an insurmountable 3-0 at the 62 minute mark when she converted on a free kick. It was also Houle's fourth goal of the season which ties her with Webster for the team lead.
Carissa Amiral picked up her second consecutive shutout after a two-save performance. It was Amiral's second start of the year and she's yet to give up a goal in 225 minutes of action this in '06.
The Seawolves will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Cal State Monterey Bay.
