ROHNERT PARK, Calif- Cal State San Bernardino got 13 kills from Lisa Dogonyaro to sweep Sonoma State 3-0 (30-26, 30-22, 30-24) on Friday night in Rohnert Park. The win lifts the No. 7 Coyotes to 12-0, 7-0 CCAA. The Seawolves fall to 5-6, 2-5 CCAA. Four of their six losses have come to teams ranked in the top twenty.
The Coyotes hit .275 as a team and were led by a solid performance by Jessica Granados. Granados had 12 kills and just two errors in 19 attempts for a .526 hitting percentage. Dogonyaro had her 13 kills in 30 attempts. Sara Hoffman led the Coyotes with 24 assists and Meghan Haas had a game-high 23 digs.
Sonoma State was led by Michelle Fletcher, who finished with 10 kills. Freshman Sarah Illingworth also had a fine outing, smacking down seven kills in 13 attempts for a .538 percentage. Lillian Harms was tops with 12 digs and Lindsay Brown had a team-high 15 assists. The Seawolves hit just .147 as a team.
SSU will host Cal Poly Pomona tomorrow night at 7:00 pm.
