SANTA ROSA, Calif- The Sonoma State women's golf team had a 21-stroke improvement over Monday, shooting a 356 to finish sixth at the SSU Invitational at Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club.
Nicki Sprinkling led the Seawolves with a 16th place finish.
Sprinkling followed up Monday's 85 with a second-round 83 on Tuesday. Two other Seawolves finished the Tuesday's round under 90,
Megan Hillard (86) and
Christina McDermott (86).
Western Washington won the team competition by ten strokes over Cal State Monterey Bay. WWU's Lianne Patkin was the individual medalist after shooting 77-75--152.
