LOS ANGELES, Calif-  
Lauren Redfield led the way with 22 points as Sonoma State stayed unbeaten with a 64-54 win over Cal State L.A. on Saturday night at the Eagles Nest in Los Angeles.  The Seawolves go to 4-0, 2-0 CCAA on the season.  
The 4-0 start to the season is the best by Sonoma State since 1998-99, when they won their first five games en route to a 23-5 record.
Redfield hit a career-high six three-pointers in scoring a career-high 22 points.  
Chelsey Armacost pitched in with 13 points and 
Danae Wellander added ten.  Freshman 
Michelle Gardner had her best game in a Seawolf uniform with eight points, five rebounds, and a blocked shot.
The Seawolves started quickly and held a 10-2 lead in the first five minutes of the game. Cal State L.A., though, fought back and tied the game at 15.
 
Sonoma State opened up leads as large as five points before Cal State L.A. took a 29-27 lead on a jumper by Rachel Ottovich. A layup by Sonoma State's 
Jennifer Russo tied the game at 29-29 at halftime.
 
A free throw by Fatimah Stokley and a basket by Jazzi Johnson put the Golden Eagles ahead, 32-29, but Sonoma State then embarked on an impressive 19-0 run to take control of the game.
 
The Seawolves will carry their 4-0 record with them next weekend to Seattle, Washington, where they'll compete in the CCAA/GNAC Challenge against Seattle Pacific and Western Washington.
