LOS ANGELES, Calif- The Sonoma State women's tennis team finished out a tough Southern California trip with an 8-1 loss to Cal State L.A. on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles.
Raquel Gottfried at No. 2 singles was the only Seawolf to earn a win. The loss drops SSU to 0-3, 0-2 CCAA.
After 8-6, 8-4, and 8-2 wins in doubles, the Golden Eagles had little trouble in singles as five of their six players won in straight sets. Gottfrield earned the lone Seawolf point with a 7-6 (7-5), 8-7 (7) win at No. 2 over Michele Maduz.
