TURLOCK, Calif- Sonoma State closed out the 2007 Best of the West Tournament on Sunday afternoon with a 3-1 loss to CCAA rival Cal State Monterey Bay. Despite a solid pitching effort from freshman Simone Brandalise, the Seawolves drop to 2-4 on the season.
Ashley Eisemann continued her torrid hitting with another 2-for-3 game, but after a first inning run, SSU couldn't put another crooked number on the scoreboard.
