BAKERSFIELD, Calif- The Sonoma State women's tennis team picked up their second straight win on Saturday afternoon with a 6-3 victory over Cal State Bakersfield at the Sally Ann Silva Courts on the CSUB campus. With the wins, the Seawolves are now 2-7, 1-3 CCAA. The Roadrunners tumble to 1-4, 1-4 CCAA.
Though Cal State Bakersfield had success at the top of the lineup, with wins at No. 1 singles and doubles, the SSU depth resulted in a much needed CCAA win. SSU took four of six singles competitions and two out of three in doubles.
Raquel Gottfried, Erin Kramer, and
Amy Belsher were all double winners for the Seawolves.
SSU will look for their third straight Division II win tomorrow when they play Montana State-Billings in Pomona.
