Maryland Offense Too Much for Seawolves

SEASIDE, Calif. - After a disappointing 10-9 loss to Cal State Monterey Bay loss earlier in the day, the Sonoma State women's water polo team was overwhelmed by Maryland 15-8 in the afternoon match Satruday in Seaside.

Sonoma State (13-11) fell behind early after being outscored 5-1 in the first period. SSU made up some ground in the second period and only trailed 7-4 at the half. However, the Terps ran away in the second half out scoring the Seawolves 8-4 for the 15-8 win.

The Aggies handed the Seawolves their worst loss in school history, a 21-3 loss, on Jan. 28 of this season in Davis.
