DAVIS, Calif. - Jessica Scott's four goals helped Sonoma State edge Cal State San Bernardino, 9-8, Saturday afternoon at the UC Davis Aggie Shootout. Sonoma State (14-12 overall, 4-8 WWPA) and CSUSB were tied at then end of the first period 1-1 before SSU scored three goals and the defense held the Coyotes scoreless to take a 4-1 halftime lead. Sonoma State's lead was cut into in the third period when CSUSB outscored SSU 4-2 to cut the advantage to 6-5. The Seawolves then matched the Coyotes goal-for-goal in the fourth to hold on for the 9-8 win. Jessica Scott tied a career-high witth four goals, she now has a team-high 45 goals this seaon. Roxanna McEwen and Sam Mullins each scored twice and Brooke Smith scored once.
