Softball Cruises Past BYU-Hawaii, 14-5

Ashley Eisemann drove in five runs in Saturday's win over BYU Hawaii
TURLOCK, Calif-  Ashley Eisemann drove in a career-high five runs to lead Sonoma State to a 14-5 win over BYU-Hawaii at the Mizuno Tournament of Champions on Saturday afternoon in Turlock.  The Seawolves see their record improve to 18-24 on the season.

Sonoma State scored once in the second inning before plating two more runs in the third to go up 3-0.  A three-run fourth and four-run fifth put the game out of reach for the Seasiders (15-18). 

Simone Brandalise tossed six innings, allowing eight hits and two earned runs to pick up her sixth win of the season. 

Alex Winters went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and Ashley Eisemann was 3-for-4 with two runs to go along with her five RBIs. 

The Seawolves close out Saturday's play at the tournament against Hawaii Pacific at 6:15.
