DAVIS, Calif- Connor Olson and
Brandon Buskirk picked up a win at No. 3 doubles, but that would be the only highlight of the day for Sonoma State as the Seawolves lost to UC Davis 7-0 at the Marya Welch Tennis Center in Davis on Saturday. The loss sends SSU to 0-2 on the year.
The Seawolves gave the Aggies some battles in the doubles competition. Besides Olson and Buskirk's 8-6 win at No. 3, the team of Jeff Stollberg and
Logan Bailey almost upset the Aggie duo, falling 9-8.
Andy Muesse and Zel Sperry, Jr. fell 8-4 at No. 1.
Connor Olson had the most success for SSU in singles, leading after one set, but falling in the end to Kevin Liang at No. 4.
The Seawolves continue play this weekend at NAIA powerhouse Fresno Pacific.
