SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Sonoma State women's tennis team was shut out by NCAA Div. I San Jose State Wednesday afternoon in San Jose.
The Seawolves, (0-6) were only able to win one game off the Spartans during the match. The win came from
Laura Robertson who won her opening game at No. 3 singles 6-4 before falling 6-1, 10-7. The team of
Raquel Gottfried and Erin Kramer came close to an upset at No. 2 doubles, but fell 8-6.
Sonoma State hosts No. 16 UC San Diego in CCAA action on Friday, March 9, at 2:00 pm. The Tritons are the defending CCAA champions and defeated SSU 7-2 earlier this season.
