SANTA CRUZ, Calif- The Sonoma State men's team dropped an 8-1 decision to the No. 1 ranked Division III team in the nation, UC Santa Cruz, on Saturday in Santa Cruz. Zel Sperry was the only winner for the Seawolves as they drop to 4-8 with the loss.
UCSC rolled to a 3-0 lead through doubles, but not without some struggle. SSU gave them fits at No. 1 and No. 3 before the Banana Slugs emerged with 8-6 wins in both.
