DENVER, Colo- The Sonoma State men's tennis team dominated Colorado Christian on Thursday afternoon in Denver to the tune of 9-0. In fact, CCU was able to take just two games off the Seawolves in the entire match. The win gives the Seawolves a sweep on their trip to Colorado and a 7-8 overall record. SSU is also now 6-1 against fellow NCAA Division II schools this year.
Competing with just four players, the Cougars weren't able to match up with the Seawolves at any of the levels. SSU picked up three quick points in doubles with 8-0, 8-1, and default wins. In singles play, three of SSU's players won in 6-0, 6-0 fashion while one was 6-0, 6-1 and two others were default winners.
The Seawolves will host the No. 5 team in the nation, UC San Diego, this Saturday at 1:00 pm in Rohnert Park.
