Water Polo Upset By Colorado State At WWPAs

Jessica Scott had three goals for the Seawolves on Friday
SANTA CRUZ, Calif-  Jessica Scott and Jenna Bole each posted hat tricks, but it would not be enough to prevent Sonoma State from being upset by Colorado State on Friday at the 2007 Western Water Polo Association Championships in Santa Cruz.  The ninth-seeded Rams defeated the Seawolves 11-7 to advance to the winner's bracket.  The Seawolves, now 17-20, will face Chapman on Saturday morning.

Tied at one after the first period, the Rams used a 9-3 advantage over the second and third to pull away.

The Seawolves' next opponent, Chapman (5-20), was a 16-6 loser to Cal State Bakersfield on Friday.
