ROHNERT PARK, Calif- A season-high fifteen service aces along with an efficient hitting attack resulted in a 3-0 Sonoma State sweep of Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday evening in CCAA volleyball action. The Seawolves go to 4-7, 1-2 CCAA on the year while the Toros drop to 1-11, 0-3 CCAA.
Sonoma State captured the match by scores of 30-19, 30-22, 30-23. The Seawolves hit a season-high .297, a full 120 points higher than their season average.
Rikki Buckshnis continued her excellent attacking on Friday with a ten-kill, no-error performance. The Clackamas, Oregon native hit an astounding .625. That percentage would have been the fourth-highest single-match clip in school history if Buckshnis had accumulated four more attacks.
